Weather Update. A depression has formed in the southeast Bay of Bengal. It is centered 990 km from Visakhapatnam. It is moving west-northwestwards. It is likely to strengthen into a severe cyclonic storm within 24 hours. It is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by the morning of the 27th of this month. The Meteorological Department has predicted that due to its impact, heavy rains are likely to occur in South Telangana and East Telangana districts.
